INVedit (Works for BETA) - NEW version

Please Read...
This Above is the INVedit Download, which works for Beta And Includes every single type of block in the game. As you may know, the previous post contains the older versions. This is because the older version can change the environment e.t.c. This Download Cant. The Only reason why I recommend you downloading this is because this contains every single type of block in the game, the old version only has blocks up to Alpha 0.9. To compare this, 0.9 doesnt even have clay.

Remember, this is completely free and legal.

In Order for the download to work, you need to download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (Free)

Further down the page you should see this from the link at the top you should see this:
Dowload: Click me! (Mirror) (Mirror2)

Yes Note they spelt Download wrong. Anyway, simply click "Click Me".

Here is a step to step guide on how to download this.
  1. Firstly, Download the two downloads.
  2. Now, extract and replace the files onto your desktop (or somewhere you would like to).
  3. Once it is in your desktop, open the file up and double click INVedit file.
  4. It may go straight to INVedit.exe, which is what you want. If it doesnt, there should be a second file which again says INVedit. In there, is INVedit.exe.*
  5. Open it up and it should come up with an empty box with a list with some images showing you the blocks! From here, it's plain sailing!
  6. If you are use to MineEdit (0.9), you will notice you will have to open it by File > Open > Quick Open >World (1 -5). In INVedit, the open icon is simply at the top. It is important you click the Downward Arrow next to the open, not the open icon (i will show you below), otherwise it would generally open your whole computer. If you click the downard arrow, click which world you want, and then it will load.
  7. Now you can drag and drop your desired items into your box. Change the count from 1 to 255 and you can also change the damage on tools (e.g a shovel).
  8. If you change the damage on a shovel to -32657 (the lowest you can go), it means you have MORE uses with it. Similar to MineEdit (read the MineEdit post) except that went to -600.
  9. There should be a Save Icon at the top as well. Click the Downward arrow next to the save icon, otherwise like the open icon, it will generally save somewhere else onto your computer. By clicking the downard arrow, the list of worlds you have appear. Depending which world you opened (e.g World 4) you save it into World 4.

                                                                    Click on INVedit.

Open it up and this may appear. Click the Folder.

    Click INVedit.exe.

Click the downward arrow next to Open.

Select the world you wish to Open.

Sorry if it isnt clear enough. From here, click one of the blocks on the right hand side.

Now highlight the box you wish to put your block in.

Now Drag and drop into your box and you can change the number of blocks you want.

Here you can check for updates!

Now click the downward arrow and Click Save! I opened world 2 so i save it on world 2.

And the process worked! I have 64 Lapis Lazuli, like i told the computer to!

    Any problems please comment..

Recommend you to use a computer.

    MineEdit Download

    MineEdit Download (Old Version)

This is the download for MineEdit, allowing you to change your inventory to your hearts desire plus changing your environment too from day to night or vice versa. This is the old version so it will not have any of the newer items. Anything before the 0.9 update will be recognised, so here is a list what you will be able to add.

    • Bookcase
    * Only Available set as either in the forms of; Wood, Stone, Iron Or Diamond.
** You literally release Lava/Water, not in the bucket. (You hold the lava, does not injure you). Once its on the ground, if the lava touches you, you will be hurt. Water will push you away.
    # The list may not list ALL of the available items. If you happen to get Clay for instance, in MineEdit, it would appear as a ?. This is normal. If you find a ?, that just means MineEdit has encountered a block AFTER the update MineEdit recognises.

There are available options in MineEdit which allows you to change the environment. You can replace blocks in world (such as convert Sand > TNT). Once it loads, TNT will replace every piece of Sand, and there will be no Sand In the game. This will more than likely make your minecraft laggy. You CAN reverse the process. If you explode the TNT, the game will crash due to the high amounts of Sand in the game. If you replace it with a rarer item (such as diamond), once you set it off it wont crash the game.

You can change the time of day as well. This is determined by a series of numbers, not real time. 0 is dawn. As you adventure on the time will change and eventually go into the negatives.

The Link tells you what you need and how to download it. Once you have downloaded it, a series of easy steps you need to take.

    1. Click File in the top right hand corner.
    2. A list appears, hover over Open.
    3. To the right, you have multiple choices. Click quick open.
    4. Another list appears to the right again. Click the world you want to edit. What appears is World 1 (File Size) and so on to World 5.
    5. Once click it will open and a message will appear saying the pig spawners dont work. Dont worry, just click Ok and then you will be taken and seeing an overview of a map.
    6. There are tabs above saying Map - Inventory - Player - Environment - Entitles - Tile Entitles.
    7. Forget Entitles and Tile Entitles.
For Inventory and placing an Item.

    1. Highlight one of the squares. It should turn yellow, once that has happened your able to choose your desired object block.
    2. On Object type, click the downards arrow and choose your item.
    3. Once clicked, you can change how many blocks you get by changing the number. You can go from 1 - 255. Once its over 64, for instance, 65, in the game no number will appear, it would just be the block, but you still get 65 blocks.
    4. Then there is damage. You can go upto -600. Positive Number is unknown. If you add negative damage too a tool (e.g a shovel), it will last a lot longer.
    5. Or, if you want to last the shovel for longer, click Super Repair and the shovel will last for longer.

For Changing the Environment And Blocks IN the Minecraft Game (Not Inventory).

You can change the time of day, by selecting "Set to Day" or "Set to Night". If you want to be inbetween, place a random number in the box.

You can also change the spawn. The figures shown represents the block movement. I would reccommend to not change this.

You can also change the weather settings. (Remove Snow, Add Snow). Hell Mode*** simply converts:

    Still Water > Lava
    Sand > Obsidian.

*** THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET THE NETHER IF YOU DONT HAVE THE HALLOWEEN UPDATE. THIS SIMPLY CHANGES THE BLOCKS IN YOUR MINECRAFT WORLD, NOT THE NETHER.

Flint And Steel as well as Obsidian is in MineEdit, so therefore if you add these, you can make a portal to the nether, AS LONG AS, you have the Halloween Update - 1.2.0. If you dont know, check in game play top right corner. If you have Beta, you have the Halloween Update. (So for instance Beta 1.01) Its Only if you have ALPHA which is below 1.2.0 (Like 1.1.2_0.1, the previous version) you do not have the halloween update.

Reminder: Beta Users HAS the halloween update.

    ______________________________________________________________________________

Similar to what you do for hell mode, where it converts the blocks, you can customise the blocks globally.

Where it says Under Replace, select the block you would like replacing globally. This means that this block will never ever appear in your chosen world. You CAN get it back by simply removing or clearing the list.

Then, the chosen block below, choose what you want to replace it with. Once that is done, the adjacent box should show what you are going to replace (e.g.)

    Stone > Soil

Then Highlight it by clicking it In the Box, and then click add. A Message should say that it Could take a long time, proceed, and it could take from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, depending on your RAM space.

Once it is done, you can play the game without seeing stone, soil will simply be there instead. If you want it back, you simply highlight it again (It will still be in the box) and click remove. Now stone will be where the edited soil would of been. You can change a multiple amount of blocks. If you want to remove a number of them quickly, simply click Clear, and it would clear it all.

    Player

In the Player tab you can change the health of you in minecraft, and how you react to fire. 20 is the max of health you can get, which is 10 hearts. (1/2 heart = 1 health). If its in the negatives, you respawn dead, so be careful. Reacting to fire, you can change how much you lose. If you change to -1, it would take longer for fire to kill you.

Purpose of this version of MineEdit. The purpose of this version, even though it is old, is that its the only available Minecraft Editing Software which allows you to change the time and the environment. Even thought it doesn't have the latest blocks, you can change time, block globally as well as health.

If your only interested in the Inventory, I would recommend you use INVedit, which has an updater, meaning you can update so you get the latest blocks. (E.g at the moment, you can get Lapis Lazuili).

Why not have both? By having both your able to get the latest blocks as well as changing the time!

Have Fun, And so you do have fun in minecraft, make sure you have a legit world! Dont make all of them where you cheat! This makes minecraft more fun, otherwise it would make it more boring!
